Paris is an amazing menagerie of creatures if you keep a look out for them, and here's a prime example, on the extremities of the Pont Alexandre III in the 7th if you please.

His reptilian (or is that amphibian) highness is looking a little the worse for wear, given his scratched gilded glow is tarnished but he still stands out from the crowd.

Quite why Paris is so obsessed with ceatures mythical and otherwise I do not know, but I do know that I love them, and will continue to seek them out, whatever crack or crevice they may attempt to hide in. You can count on me.
