This is a gorgeous little architectural tidbit, unique in the city to my knowledge, to be found outside a fire station in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. I don't know if it's an original piece or a gesture of modern caprice but its charm is undeniable. I love the red and it goes well with the creamy grey of the rest of the building. It's down a side street near the rue Saint Dominique; see if you can find it!
