Just read that the 31st December is the biggest day for charitable giving of the year. Why? Guilt feelings? New Years resolutions? Too much cash floating around? Almost. Tax relief. Give on the first and you have to wait a year to get the payback. Give on the 31st and the return is immediate. Almost.

Don't worry, this isn't another bleeding heart post - just a grimy, fuzzy picture of a grimy fuzzy guy I'm getting rid of to clear the way for the new year which is rapidly rushing in.

Here's hoping the next one will be a great one, for me, for you and for all we care about. There's no reason why it shouldn't be, if we look at it from the right angle in the light of a new day.

I'm enjoying looking at photos from over on the City Daily Photo Facebook page which stemmed out of Eric Tenin's Paris Daily Photo which is, miraculously, still going strong.

I'm being called to go and do some pointless Sunday afternoon shopping so I'll leave it here, promising the next photo will be far more joyful, less fuzzy and resolutely positive - see you just before the new year!
