Whilst the Gare d'Austerlitz is getting a major facelift, certain things seem to be staying the same. Like this splendid, if strangely faceless mural.

The eagle has got a face, of course, but the guy doesn't appear to, which bothers me slightly.

The vista is impressive, whatever, and always pleasant to glance up at when I'm passing by that way.

There's another equally enigmatic piece opposite, so check them out when you can. But don't miss your train!
