Well here you can (almost) have these two great loves united in one; a huge chocolate Eiffel Tower.I say almost because you can neither climb nor eat the thing, but the thought of doing either or both is so tantalisingly delicious it almost makes up for its inaccessibility.
Probably the most amazing thing about it is that it's still in one piece, given the highly touristy area it's in with thousands of grubby little hands eager to get a piece of the action.
I managed to resist and went off in search of pictures of macaroons instead, the way you do when you're in one of these gooey emporiums.
If any of you do attempt the climb, or the grab-snap for that matter, do let me know. Personally, I wouldn't want to indulge in something that's been there and slavered, coughed and sneezed over for who knows how long. Give me the real thing(s) any day.
