A grimmer, greyer, grimier, grungier facade you couldn't wish to contemplate. So much for architectural wonders; so much for pristine, perfection; so much for the unified elegance of the Parisian streetscape. There's no denying it: 51 rue Reynouard in the 16th is grotty with a capital 'G'.
And all the more so when captured on a grotty evening under grotty street lighting on a grotty little photo camera.
And were it not for some post-picturing playing around the picture above would be even grottier still. (Don't you just love words beginning with 'gr'?)
Oh, but you get angels with it. Great!

Are you sure they are angels? They look more like demons to me.
Well they've got wings, or at least one of them has, so I kind of assumed the obvious! Weird to see them on this awful building though!
