The King Has Come

...which just goes to show: well, two things really.

The old computer programming adage, 'rubbish in, rubbish out' (or was
it 'garbage'?), is never truer than with creative street photography.

If i hadn't worked hard to get that wonderful light flooding the
picture; if i'd chopped off his tail; if i'd let the camera (an
iPhone, remember!) underexpose like it was trying to; if there'd been
no hint of place (see the metro line?): it would have been a weaker
picture.

And the other thing this shot tells us? That if you have done your
best to avoid starting with... crap, let's say, you can perform some
small miracles these days with your (very) smart phone.
