Comportments of Reverence

The sobering monument to the deportation of 'undesirables' during
WWII, tucked away on the end of Ile de la Cité, is not every visitor's
first stop on the tourist trail.

For those who do come on purpose, or stumble across it by accident,
though, it's a moving experience.

i got shhushhed by someone for whispering some of the background to my
photo tour friend by an indignant visitor, and i must admit it said
'silence' so they were right.

Hopefully i convey some of my reverence through my images, if not my
comportment.
