For those of you who have been paying attention, The Curse of the Green Rectangle was lifted today...
But as someone who lives with a Spanish football fanatic, i suffered right up until the very last minutes of extra time!
And in the end it was unmitigated joy all round of course, and feverish phone calls back to Barcelona to share the joy. The fact that the scorer of the winning (and only) goal plays for Barcelona allowed the Catalonians to join in the celebrations.
