Every time I go past this little baby I feel almost irresistibly attracted to it, either to take its photo for the umpteenth time or just to check that it's doing ok.

This isn't without reason because a similar post literally just across the way has had its spectacular meridienne verte plaque swiped and I'm just hoping the same doesn't happen to this one.

Of course, nothing lives in a vacuum, so here are some loungers enjoying the sparse spring-like sun (summer has been cancelled this year in Paris) by the Fontaine des Quatre Paries du Monde (fountain of the four parts of the world), the Fontaine Carpeaux after the sculptor, or if you like the Fontaine de l'Observatoire, as you wish.

Talking about the fountain would be fun, as it's an interesting one, with four ethnically typical women, (boobs out, obviously) representing the four corners of the earth as they imagined them in those days.

If you're into the zodiac you won't be disappointed either but that, as I said, will be for another post on another day. If you want to know more about this plaque it features prominently in my Top Ten Perplexing Paris Plaques series here.

And why not...
