Ahh, Nathalie... I was already in France when you were Léon's Mathilda, causing a sensation in one of the greatest of modern thrillers, up there with Heat in my book, which is high praise indeed, but praise for Heat too.
Now look at you, after Star Wars you're in films getting nominated all over the place. Up there with Eiffel, do you remember or even know that a few weeks after the phenomenal release of the film, or was it when the director's cut came out, there were posters of your sweet face all over Paris, with just two words, written bold for all to see: 'Merci Léon'.
We thanked him then and we thank you too, all the fans of that very special movie. We won't forget you, Mathilda.
