If you think this looks like some avant-garde arty French film image
from the 60s i'm delighted, but in fact it was taken last night,
February 2010, on the boulevard Saint Michel, as a few night owls
couldn't resist a quick browse in one of the second-hand Meccas of
book/CD/comic-loving Paris.

i've calmed down a lot recently, but many's the time i would pop in
'just for a quick look' and leave an hour later with an armful of
cheap but perfectly playable CDs. And a wallet a few hundred francs
lighter...
