Something struck me as vaguely funny about the fact that the panel proclaims proudly that "Here we are renovating a work of art" whilst they can't even keep the panel graffiti free.

In the background one of the Paris pedestrian bridges. The work of art being restored will have to remain a mystery. You can't have everything.
