Another intriguing detail from the monument to humanity - aka the Freemasons' temple - on the Champs de Mars, and there are lots of them (intriguing details). This is a rather spooky eyeless face. There are also inscriptions everywhere. And tortoises. Lots of tortoises. You can amuse yourself on the internet trying to discover what that's all about.
