Banks of the Seine or grabshots of the Ganges, you may be wondering, and you wouldn't be wrong. Well, I'm not sure if it's the Ganges, but it's certainly the banks of the Seine, as part of a captivating photo exhibition, well worth a visit if you're in town over the next few days.

There's something highly incongruous about seeing Parisians and tourists alike mingling almost seamlessly with life-sized images from other climes.

The pictures are superb and striking, and leave you in awe, both of the photographers' dedication and the subjects themselves, leading such different lives which just happen to be theirs and not ours thanks to the great human gene lottery. I often wonder who's happier, and to be honest the answer doesn't always please me.
