The fact that 'Pooh' almost rhymes with 'égout' (drain) should not be taken too seriously. He is, after all, a bear of simple brain and complicated things might get the better of him.

It makes you wonder what sort of urgent drainy interventions might be necessary in this city of a thousand underground tunnels, but the subtleties of the operation escape me. Giant turds clogging the system, maybe? Super-poo? Oooh, it doesn't bear thinking about.
